What Is The Best Spell Checker

First off, I would like to welcome you to Generate Wealth Forever – Generate passive income.

You are on this page because you want to know What is the best spell checker. I have used a couple of spell checkers, and I found Grammarly to be the best.

Up until two years ago, I never needed a spell checker as much as I do now. Two years ago, I started writing blog posts on various websites. When I first started, I was using the basic one you would find on MS word; It was good enough, but then I stumbled upon Grammarly, and it changed the way that I write.

It is really the best, and this is why I want to tell you about it now.

What Is The Best Spell Checker

Grammarly is an all-in-one software that checks/fixes your grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and spelling. I haven’t found anything like this program…Ever! When you write as much as I do, you need something to take what you wrote and make it better. Grammarly does just that!

Create Better Writing

Grammarly is perfect for people who like to write, whether it be on a website blog, newspaper articles, students writing essays or teachers. Grammarly is for everyone.

Maybe English isn’t your first language, and you want to tell a story in proper English, Grammarly can help you with that. Now you will be able to write like English is your first language.

Grammarly is the best writers tool that you can have. When you write, you will write and not worry about your content when typing it. You can now blurt out what you want to say and then use Grammarly to fix it when you are done writing.

Check Your Spelling, Grammar, punctuation All In One.

I do a lot of writing as if you were to look at my site, you would agree with me. I am glad that I found Grammarly because it has made my life easier and my writing better. English is my native language, but sometimes when I write, it just doesn’t sound right, sometimes my spelling is off, and I know that my punctuation is wrong. (as you will see in the video)

After I am done writing, I open up Grammarly to check over my writing. Grammarly checks all of the spelling errors, checks my punctuation and even goes over the sentence structure, and if it’s not right, Grammarly will give me a suggestion on how to word it so that it sounds proper.

If you want your writing to sound a different way but don’t know how to say it, then you can go into the Grammarly settings and change how you want to sound, and when you check your work, Grammarly will let you know what to change to make you sound the way you want.

The writing goals that you can set are

  • Formality – Informal, Neutral, Formal
  • Domain – Academic, Business, General, Email, Casual, Creative
  • Tone – Neutral, confidant, Joyful, Optimistic, Friendly, Urgent, Analytical, Respectful
  • Intent – Inform, Describe, Convince, Tell a story.

With each option, you can pick how you want to sound. When you do your checks, you will have a goal list, and when you correct your work, you will see a score of how your work sounds.

Free Vs. Premium Versions

One of the main reasons I liked Grammarly from the start was it’s being a FREE chrome extension. The free program has its limitations, and that’s why it’s free.

If you are just a casual writer and want to have your spelling and grammar checked, then the free version is all you need. However, you are a serious writer who does a lot of writing; you can benefit from the paid version. With the paid version, you will use all the features that Grammarly offers, like all that I have mentioned above.

With the paid version, you can also check to see if work has been plagiarized. If you are a teacher checking your student’s homework, all you need to do is copy the work (or type it in) and use the plagiarize checker to check if the work was copied from somewhere else.  When you run the plagiarized checker, Grammarly scans the internet using AI technology to find out if any writing was copied from a different source. The program will even tell you if a certain % was copied and from where.

You can use Grammarly on your devices with the same subscription.

Since Grammarly is a chrome extension, it will work with any site you are writing on, Ie. Email, websites, comments, social media, text messaging. Practically anywhere that you write.

I highly recommend the paid version of Grammarly for all your writing projects.

So if you are a serious writer and want to write proper English, Grammarly is what you need. This truly is the best spell checker on the internet.

  1. Hi, I am also a very happy and satisfied Grammarly user. But I am sticking with the free version at least for the time being. I do think you have to be careful because not all of Grammarly’s suggestions are correct. I’ve found it always tries to change – may be – into – maybe – for example and that isn’t always correct. I found there were some errors I was constantly making that Grammarly kept and keeps on correcting for me. For example, I was using – which – instead of – that – in many cases. If there is one thing I would really like is that it would also work for MS Word. I still do a lot of writing in MS Word which is currently outside at least my Grammarly world. Maybe the paid version could fix that? But in summary, I agree with you, Grammarly is an excellent tool. Best regards, Andy

    1. You are right Grammarly isn’t perfect but it’s close enough that It makes your writing better. The free version is good too but you do have more options in the paid version.

      Thanks for you comment

  2. Hello there, I read your article about Grammarly, and I want to share the same opinion about the Grammarly app. The English language is not my first language, and for that reason, I use Grammarly in my daily online job to check my content. I use the free version, which is much helpful. I recommend to everyone to try it.

Thank you for sharing this helpful information.
